Dona F. Olsen

Dona F. Olsen of Zion Services for Dona F. Olsen, 64, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee. Entombment will take place in Warren Cemetery, Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, Gurnee. Family and friends may meet from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, at the funeral home. Born Nov. 3, 1942, in Tremont, Miss., to Cleavis and Della (nee Pierce) Cody, she passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. On Aug. 26, 1961, in Waukegan, Dona married Gerald A. Olsen. Dona was an LPN for the past 34 years at Victory Medical Center in Waukegan. Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years, Gerald "Olie"; daughters, Sherri (Ronald Weaver) Duncan of Kenosha, Wis. and Merry (Eugene) Olsen-Mauser of Zion; her mother Della Cody of Kenosha; sisters, Patricia Molette of Pleasant Prairie, Wis. and Debbie Landre of Sturtevant, Wis.; grandchildren, Felicia Swigert, Tiffany Duncan, Cassandra Duncan, and Maureen and Jennifer Mauser; great-grandson, Daveion Deshawn Alexander; and many nieces and nephews.
