Donald ASHFORD Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 2, 2021.
April 19, 1967 - January 30, 2021 Passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Toronto Western Hospital at the age of 53. Beloved husband of Cindy for 19 years. Amazing, loving father to Danielle and Kylie. Adored son to Anne and Russel Ashford of Keswick. Cousin to Douglas Levangie, and Russell Levangie (Karen). Don was an employee of Toshiba Canada for 28 years. Don loved to spend time with his family, going on long rides on his Harley, drives on a warm summer day in his BMW convertible, and campfires with his trailer family. He will be sadly missed. Memorial donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral Services will be streamed from Mckersie-Kocher Funeral Home on You Tube on Friday, February 5th at 1:00 p.m.

I remember fondly the early days of my career working with Don at PWC. We shared the pains of year ends and late dinners of cardboard like meat of some type. I remember when Don first met Cindy and when he first started at Toshiba. Life got busy and we drifted apart. Over the last few years we reconnected and quickly caught up. Don loved the simple things about life which is what made him so easy to like and spend time with. He loved Cindy deeply and enjoyed talking about and celebrating his daughters. I will miss Don.
