My condolences to the family, I enjoyed the visits and outings shared with Sheila and 'Uncle Don' always so much laughter, he.was one of the GoodGuys.
He did love an ice cream cone!

I will dearly miss my Uncle Don and our Saturday get-togethers: the memories and anecdotes and wisdom he shared with me, the jokes he made (usually at my expense), and the ice cream cones at day's end (which he adored, come rain, come shine). I will remember most his cheeky grin and when I remember, I will smile too. My heartfelt condolences to my cousins Neil and Wally and family.

My condolences to you, Neil and Wally and your families. I have a picture of the 1946-47 Calgary Buffalo Elks southern Alberta midget hockey champions coached by Bill Margach and managed by Don Barker. I've been looking at this photo many times since Don's passing. It brings back many memories of family times. One of the last times he saw mum he reminded me to take care of her. I will always remember his kindness.

Uncle Don was fun to be around, I'll always remember our family Christmas dinners together. His work ethic and sense of humour were two of his special features. Uncle Don loved to tease, but always with a smile and then with a kind word. My sympathy to Neil and Wally, Uncle Don was very special.

Neil and Wally, so sorry to hear about Don's passing. He was a great guy and really helped me when he got me the job at the Big 4 and well I was employed there. Thinking about both of you at this time.

Neil and Wally, Wanda and I are saddened and send our sympathies. While your dad did not quite make that 100, he gave it a good run. We will always cherish memories of meeting up with your Mum and Dad (usually for fish and chips) when ever we visited the island.
