Donald Boing Obituary
Donald Boing age 90 passed away June 20, 2020. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Duda). Dear father of Donald (Deanna) and Darrin J. (Sandy). Loving grandfather of Nicole Ralph (Daniel), Darrin M., Donald and Aubrey Boing. Great grandfather of Mason and Logan Ralph. Son of the late Joseph and Francis (nee Wisniewski). Brother of Alice Soto (Deceased) and Doris Janashak. Visitation Wednesday June 24, 2020 from 4-7 p.m. at the FORTUNA FUNERAL HOME 7076 Brecksville Rd. Independence, Ohio. (For proper social distancing, no more than 40 people at a time permitted in the funeral home.) Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 11:00 a.m. at Holy Name Catholic Church 8328 Broadway Ave. Cleveland, Ohio. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment All Saints Cemetery. Mr. Boing was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and former acting Captain of the Cuyahoga Heights Police Department.

This is a tough one for our family. The Boing and Mantell families will always be connected. Don's father and my father worked together and shared the same love of hunting and fishing. We were always at their house and the Boings at ours. Don was a great athlete and great person. I would cross paths with Dorothy and him at mass at Holy Name church many times. God Bless you Don. Best wishes for the family at this tough time. Nothing but good memories.
