I was fortunate to have worked with Don at NMPRC. He was a pleasure to work with, always having kind words and a great sense of humor. Don was a great guy and will be missed. My sincere condolences go out to Don's family.

I met Don when I joined the 135th Signal Battalion in 1969. Don was my platoon sergeant.
He was always good to me, a true gentleman who will be greatly missed. So sorry for your loss.

You were one of the best people to be around with a loving sense of humor. Our family has gained another guardian angel in which we will all miss dearly. Give my grandmother a huge hug for me when you see her.

I remember Donnie when he would come to Coffey in the 60’s. My brother and him ran around together. He was a nice guy and funny. What’s really funny is that our family has a recipe that we got from lida that we have passed down, we called it the Lida Butcher salad. I told Donnie about this once years ago and he thought that was really neat. It’s still in my recipe box and I’m 77 years old. Sorry for your loss.
