Donald CAMERON Obituary
Captain (Retired) Air Canada
Passed away, aged 84, after a brief illness and a long and determined struggle with Parkinson's Disease. Loving husband to Marilyn for 46 years. Proud father to Peter (Linda), Andrew, Ann (John Fournier), John (Myra) and Susanna (James Wood). Happy Grandfather to nine grandchildren. Predeceased by father, Alfred Gordon Cameron; mother, Dorothy Stratton Hendrick; stepfather, A.V.M Max Hendrick; and brother Peter A.G. Cameron. Don was a life-long passionate aviator, and found his true calling. He will be greatly missed. We wish him peace and calm skies. A private family funeral has already taken place. A Celebration of Life to follow in the spring. Our thanks to the kind, caring people at Carleton Lodge, and to the ACE unit at the Queensway Carleton Hospital. Donations to the Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.

My memory of this man goes back in time 1962 to be exact .He would frequent a restaurant I was working, it was my first summer job .He kindly offered to take myself and three others for a flight from the Peterborough airport ..We flew over the city and it was my first time in a airplane .I never forgot it .Sorry to his family for their loss .
