Papa was the best Papa you could ask for! He was one of the most kind hearted-loving genuine person I knew. A one of a kind. He had such an impact on so many lives and only wanted the best for everyone. Life will never be the same and I will forever cherish all of our memories. Until we´re together again-Rest in peace Papa I love you bigger.

We have known Don for years; starting in the late 1960's in Avenal, California; Navy times. We have visited Don and Chris many times and have enjoyed their friendship immensely. They are two very special people who love everyone and help everyone who needs it. Don will be missed by many; hugs and prayers for the whole family.

Dad´s goal was to always make someone smile, and he was always successful! He had a heart of gold and a twinkle in his eye every time he smiled. He made our world a happier and better place. Now his work on Earth is done. Rest in peace dad, we´ll see you again! Love you BIGGER!

I knew Mr. Carter many years ago (I am a family friend), I remember Mr. Carter being a great example of what a man and father should be; loving, caring and fun to be around. My prayers go out to your wonderful family. Chris Wallis

Papa was the greatest example of a man, father and husband. I was hurt the moment his health declined, a world without papa is a place difficult to imagine.
