I was dedicated as a newborn baby by the Rev Donald Crowhurst back in 1961 at Lakemba Baptist Church. My Father and Mother were close friends whilst they lived in Australia and lost contact. I have only just found out that this dear man that my Father (also Deacon of the same church at that time) spoke so highly of over the past 53yrs. I use to play with his daughter Megan at church. I am so sorry that this world has lost such a great man but I know that he is in heaven with my dear parents singing along to the wonderful Baptist Hymnal that still takes pride n place in my home. Blessings to all. Thankyou kind Sir. Shall We Gather At The River.

Don was a caring, compassionate man of many talents. May his soul rest in peace, and be free from all pain and suffering.
Grandad, you were loved by your family very much and you have touched the lives of many people. You will live on in our hearts and memories. Rest In Peace.

My family was at St John's United in Vancouver when Don was there. My father, Joe Simpson, was the organist and worked closely with your Dad and enjoyed the relationship. My memories of Don are of a man who had a passion and enthusiasm for life and his faith.
Our thoughts & prayers are with you as you celebrate a life well lived.
