Donald Jason Deaton

Just by accident I became aware that Don Deaton had passed.
Don was a close friend while we attended UNC Pharmacy
School. Our thoughts and prayers are with you,Carol.

I am sure other friends have the same memory as I do of shopping in Revco and hearing Don's personal hello and friendly conversation coming from behind the pharmacy counter! He was a good kind man and will be missed by so many people that he cared about. Our thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time.

Brad, Dana, Parker, and Tyler, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father and grandfather. He sounds like such a interesting man, a character of sorts. I am sure you have many memories of him to comfort you, however I know you will miss him.

I'm going to definitely miss Don. I had the pleasure of working with Don for 4 and 1/2 yrs at CVS. There was never a dull moment when he was around and I will definitely cherish all the memories me and my fellow co workers shared with him. He was one of a kind and I'm proud to say he taught me alot. Sending prayers up for his family during this sad time! You will be missed Dondo!

Don Deaton was one of the most influential people in my life. I often hear his voice in my head when I need to make a decision and often laugh when I think of how he would react to situation. I became a better person due to having the privilege of working next to him at revco/cvs for 10 years. He tought me so much about pharmacy and about life. He is one of the best people that I have ever met. He was truly my mentor. He will be so missed. My thought are with carol and the family tonight. I love ya Dondo.

Don loved to tell us stories about his family that he was very proud of.He made all of us that worked with him feel like we were part of his family.
