Donald "Donnie" Robillard Obituary

Donald "Donnie" Norman Robillard, 76, of Dayville passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025, in Providence, RI at Hope Hospice. Donnie was the son of Donald Armand and Germaine Regina (Genest) Robillard.

Donnie was a proud Vietnam Veteran who was honorably discharged in April 1970 from the US Army. Donnie was a Private E-1 serving in the 4th Battalion 28th Artillery for over two years. He courageously received two Purple Hearts during his tour overseas as well as other decorations and badges. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post #4908.

A retired truck driver turned avid gardener and pet lover, Donnie enjoyed spending time at home with his family and many dogs and cats. He also enjoyed working on and repairing vehicles and other small pieces of equipment. Donnie was a 'tinkerer' as they say.

Donnie leaves behind his wife, Linda; his children, Jason, Kristen, Winona and Shawna; his five grandchildren, his longtime friend and sidekick, David Charbonneau, and his dog Bunny.

Donnie will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Inurnment will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Danielson, CT. Services will be private and have been entrusted to the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA 01570. For memorial guestbook please visit www.shaw-majercik.com.
