Donald Filipiak

Donald M. Filipiak passed away on February 12, 2025, in Colgate, Wisconsin, at the age of 93. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Ingrid; his children, Donna, Thomas, Debbie, and Randy (Judy); and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Elizabeth, William (Lisa), Lauren (Stephen), Alexander (Alyssa), and Rebecca (John). He was also blessed with six great-grandchildren and will be fondly remembered by other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Richard.

Donald was a graduate of Pulaski High School and dedicated many years of service to the Milwaukee Police Department before embarking on a successful 27-year career as a sales executive at TV 6. His professional life was marked by dedication and integrity.

Beyond his career, Donald had a passion for travel, exploring both the United States and Europe. He maintained a close bond with the five exchange students who became part of his extended family, cherishing their visits both in the U.S. and abroad.

Known for his infectious sense of humor and warm personality, Donald found joy in connecting with others. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, neighbor, and friend who was always willing to lend a helping hand. His faith was an important part of his life, and he remained an active member of his church community.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on April 11, 2025 at Good Sheperd Catholic Church, N 88 W 17658 Christman Rd., Menomonee Falls. Visitation at 1 p.m. followed by a Mass at 2 p.m., and a gathering will follow.
