Rev. Donald Charles Furlong CSB

Father Furlong was the Prefect of House One at SMC in 1960-61. A very gentle, quiet man who tolerated and somehow survived the noisy guys in the house without even raising his voice..a kind and understanding gentleman. May he RIP.

I am very saddened to learn of Fr. Don's passing. I was in his class at St. Charles College in Sudbury soon after he was ordained. I remember him as a very good teacher and priest. I will remember
Fr. Don in my Mass intentions and prayers.

I recall many happy days with him in Sandy Hill and at St. Joseph's Parish with Don, Gus Long and other classmates.

We go back a long way - same year novitiate and years at Assumption Church. I'm glad you're at peace, and entrust you to the love of the Lord.
