I am so saddened by the news of Don´s passing. He was one of the most positive people I have ever met. He was so content to sit and watch the loons on the lake over morning coffee, and always made time to talk and welcome everyone. Pocasset will not be the same without him.

Dear Mark and the Gatti Family,
I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Don. I met him at the gathering to honor Susan's parents. He was very charming and in the brief time I spent with him I can well imagine that he lived up to his middle name. I wish you all peace.
Love, Meegan Moriarty

Don will be truly missed by me and my family. My dad met Don when they were in the Army together. Our first introduction to Maine was to visit the Gatti family when Mark and Linda were very young, I believe about 1967. So many great memories of our visits on Pond Road! Some of my happiest summer memories are with the Gatti family. Don always made us smile; he was funny, kind and generous! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Don and the Gattis!!

I have so many wonderful memories of Don, Dorle and family through many years. Fun times at Sugarloaf, Moosehead and the house on Pond Rd. My most memorable was as a young child he let me "drive"- push the gas pedal- of his convertible car at the time. I guess I hit the pedal too hard and gunned the car. For quite awhile he called me "Sparkplug" after that.
Dorle and family, Jim and I are very sorry for your loss. He was an amazing and funny guy! Love to all! Jim and Wendy

So many great memories spending time in Wayne with Don as "activity coordinator " fishing at " Perch City" and ice fishing and pig roasts . Don would joyfully bounce around checking on everyone. We loved all the times we got to spend together when we visited them in Wayne and when they came to Susan and Mark´s. His big smile and enthusiasm will be missed .
