Don was the epitome of humility, grace and patience.
He frequently walked me through very complex concepts and made them simple to understand. He loved the Lord and his family deeply and was a solid example of a man who lived out his faith daily. God has gained a wonderful addition to Heaven and, Praise the Lord, we'll see each other again! May God provide His comfort and peace as you walk this path of grief.

I am one of Don's Classmates in the Marion, Illinois, High School Class of 1966. Don was an AWESOME, Christian gentleman who really loved and serve Jesus well as does his wife Julie. My wife Liz and I had the privilege of staying in their home in June of 2018 while on our way to Michigan for a weeks of Vacation time. They were such a gracious host and hostess, and we'll never forget that time together with them. The next day we had the privilege of worshiping with them and their loving congregation of Christians at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene. I would like to give a memorial offering to Grace Point Church of the Nazarene in loving Memory of Don. Don went immediately into the presence of JESUS this past Thursday, for he was truly "prepared to meet his God" in obedience to Amos 3:12. May we all be so prepared to meet Jesus "in the twinkling of an eye," for none of us know how much time we have left in this earthly life. Julie and family, we love you, JESUS loves you, and NOTHING CAN SEPARATE you and Don from His love, for Don is "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" in eternity, and you all are safe in His love and care in the here and now and for all time and eternity. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
