Donnie was one in a million. I will always remember the practical joker side of him as when many years ago he sneakily added some last minute notes to a piece I was transcribing for a sax player in church. You can imagine how the piece sounded. God bless the entire Grant family. I remember you with great fondness

He lived a great life! I was sad to hear of his passing. As a kid growing up down on the "Cape" I was always amazed at the mailman who could drive a Dodge from the wrong side of the car! Here is an example of Donnie: He reassured and provided Ken Cirone needed encouragment after Ken had a similar medical implant device. With Donnie's help, Ken went on to live without the worries he previously had. Prayers to your family on your loss.

Both Dorothy and myself were saddened to hear of Donnie's passing. We will always remember him for his great sense of humor and for his calm approach to the many problems which he had to deal with in the course of his leadership activities. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Our prayers are with all of his family and friends at this time.

Blessings to all,
Rev. Walter and Dorothy Woitasek

We were very saddened to learn of Donnie's passing. We regret not making the services since we just found out today that he had passed. We want to send our heartfelt condolences to Peggy and family members. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Donnie will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was a strong and admired community leader. We will think of him often as we enjoy the marafax beans raised by him and his son, Everett. Donnie was a great gardener and enjoyed sharing his produce with those he loved. God bless you all as you mourn your loss.

Fondly,
Jeff & Cheryl Fernald

Donnie was a great favorite of mine. As I told Patti, I still see him standing up against the kitchen counter telling wonderful jokes and stories with a big smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes. He was the kind of dad I wished I'd had. Thinking of you all and sending love.

Oh what a wonderful man. He could always make you smile and laugh! I can remember him visiting my Aunt Sonja's house and there was lots of laughter. May those wonderful memories comfort you all in this time of loss. May the love of family and friends bring you peace. With love and sympathy, Janie Snider
