Donald Joseph Hodge

Donald Joseph Hodge died on March 3, 2023 at the age of 79 at his home in California. He was born 9/9/43 in Youngstown, Ohio. Donald was a 1961 graduate from Chaney high school. Donald moved to Orange, California after graduating from Youngstown College. In Orange, he worked for Stater Bros grocery for over 25 years. In retirement, he worked part-time as a security guard. He enjoyed his time gardening, meeting new friends, watching polka on TV, caring for his dogs, and Sunday dinners with family. He is preceded in death by his wife Diane Dublino Hodge, his infant son Joseph, sister Nancy Bellotta, and parents Joseph and Evelyn Jean Hodge. He is survived by his daughter Dawn Marie Alberts (Bill), son Christopher Hodge (Lorann), Grandchildren Amy Jennings (Scott), Allyson Gilmartin (Nick), Zane Hodge, Sarah Alberts, Madelyn Hodge, Cade Hodge, Great grandchildren Casey and Connor Jennings, Brother Robert Hodge (Gloria), Sister Joanne Elswick (JR), Brother-In-Law Mitch Bellotta, Sister-in-law Virginia Dublino Miller, and many nieces and nephews.
