We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to the Janson family, for the loss of Bishop Janson. He was our first Bishop when we moved to Peoria from California. He had such a kind heart and we regarded him as a very knowledgable, loving man...

He will be greatly missed.

We were surprised and saddened to hear of Don's passing. We enjoyed working with him at DashMat; our condolences go out to all the Janson families.

I always felt a kinship to Don and Joanne, probably because Joanne was my Primary or Sunday School teacher at the tender age of 5. I didn't really understand that my teacher was going to marry my cousin until I went to the reception. It was very magical for a very young girl.

I regret that I will be unable to attend the funeral and mingle with the rest of the family.

I extend my love and condolences to all the family.

I am Don's first cousin on his mother's side. I regret not knowing him better, but hopefully, I can get to know you all, his family. My sister Myrna sends her love and condolences from Escondido, CA. She distinctly remembers getting ready for and attending Don and Joanne's wedding reception. She recalled that Sister McFate had been her Primary teacher. She said it must have been the first wedding reception she attended. She was five years old. I was just a month old when you got married.

My sister Marsha and my brother Jeff send their love and condolences also. My sister Sharon is planning on coming to the funeral from Arizona City. I also am hoping to get off work to come. I work as secretary at the Mesa Institute of Religion, and I recall seeing John's name on rosters when he taught seminary over here in the CES South Area a couple of years ago.

Please accept my love and deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. May the Lord bless you.

Love, Pam & Ron Pratt and Family

To the Janson family,

I give my deepest sympathy with the lose of Don. I enjoyed working with your family at Dashmat all those many years ago. I have fond memories of Don; he was friendly and caring to all. He was even willing to help me out when I was planning on going on a mission. My mission turned out to be getting married and now 7 children later I am grateful to your family for all the love, friendship, support, and everything else they gave me when I worked there. I know he was a great man and I was glad to have known him.

Don was a kind, gentle, humorous man and a great favorite of mine. I will remember him with fondness.
