I didn´t know Don, I only knew one Kautsky, the one that many of you did not know. His name was Frank H. Kautsky lll. He was the son of Frank JR aka Fronnie and Doris Cramer, my Aunt. Frank 3.0 was a towering man of 6´5" tall, dark and handsome. He had sky blue eyes and a contagious smile. He was my first cousin 18 years my senior and a hero in my eyes. He was a police Sargent in St Pete Fl. The many years he worked for the department he earned many accommodations and the subject of many human interest stories in the newspapers. After he retired he moved to a rural community near Macon GA and found himself the new police chief. He brought his mother from Indiana to live with him and his 2nd wife. He was extremely proud of his family on both sides. It was no wonder he had high standards and values have learned these traits from his `kin´ as he would say. He spent a great deal of time studying genealogy. Ripples of these stories remain online telling the tale of those who have gone before. Frank died July 2016 leaving behind his son Frank lV. His daughter Judy died 2006. Both had children´s of their own and Frank lll was a great Grandfather at his passing. Additionally Frank had adopted a girl who lost her parents. Her name is Krystal Kautsky. Frank loved dogs and always had one as long as I knew him. He was generous, patient and well respected by those who knew him.
