Donald was one of a kind as is the Kinsey family truly special people it was a pleasure to be around them R.I.P

Please accept my sincere condolences to the Mr. Donald Kinsey Family. Mr. Donald Kinsey co-founded the blues group the Kinsey Report alongside his family members, and he played guitar with such artists as Bob Marley and the Wailers. May the God of all comfort who is the hearer of prayers be with you in your time of need with his loving kindness and peace as He strengthens you to cope during this difficult time. Mr. Donald Kinsey will be missed, but his talent as a guitarist will not be forgotten. May family, friends and extended family cherish his memories.

It was wonderful the time he spent living in Grand Rapids. I'll always think of
him as a friend and a great musician. I remember him as somebody who shared his enthusiasm for playing blues and reggae both.

My condolences to the Kinsey and extended families.

Our first memory of Donald and the Kinsey Report was when they would play in Davenport, Iowa, Rock Island, Illinois, and at the Mississippi Blues Festival. Chuck would always have fresh baked cookies for their Father, Big Daddy Kinsey. Their music and creative presence lifted the spirits with joy and celebration. I loved dancing and swinging my hips to the music, releasing the stress of daily life. Thank you dear ones. Comfort be to Kenny and family members as you celebrate the life of Donald and Ralph. Thanks be to God. RIP.
