Dear Joanne,

Please accept my most sincere condolences. Although it has been many year since I've seen Don I've always had fond memories of my best friend's dad and how good he was to us kids growing up.

With much regard,

Graduated with Don in 1963. My thoughts are with the family. I was told he made it to all the class reunions. We are going to miss him next year for the 45th reunion.

We are saddened to hear that Don lost his long and valiant fight. He was a great friend in school and his easy going manner was such an endearing quality. Our prayers are with your entire family during this very stressful time.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

I remember Don from attending Royalton-Hartland. I believe he was in the class my brother graduated from - Ted Grove. May his memories hold you as life continues. May you and the family rest in peace knowing he is at peace and in God's hands.

I will certainly miss Don...he was part of our "group". A gathering of friends who shared birthdays and holidays. We did a lot of laughing, sharing stories about work and about life in general. He was a fun loving spirit full of just the right balance of sarcasm and compassion. There will always be a special place in my heart for him. I am grateful that I got to know him and priviledged to call him friend. Joann, please know I am ALWAYS here if and when you need me. Love you guys. Gail, Paul and the kids
