Mary, I remember you from the support group at Prairie Adult Care. I know that the last months have been very challenging, but I was happy to hear that you had found a care facility that provided loving care for your Don. I trust that you also found support there as well as in your circle of family and friends. It's a difficult journey for the Alzheimer's patient as well as the loved one. I pray that you have found strength and comfort in the Lord Jesus who loves us and gives us eternal life. (John 3:16)

I'm so very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I know first hand how profound a loss is when you realize that he will no longer be there for the events in your life. I can tell you though that the very best way to mark his passing is by filling your mind with all of the wonderful memories you have of happier times. Even though I have not seen Don for many years I have often thought of Don and Mary and how much I enjoyed selling them cars. My memory of Don was how smart he was but never above anybody. My deepest sympathy.
