Pat and Family,
Don was a dedicated member of the Dakota Co. Sheriff's Special Deputy Unit for many years. We all enjoyed working with Don, especially the brotherhood and camaraderie that we shared. We were all saddened to hear of Don's passing. Take solace, knowing that while Don was with us, he did good things for people. Blessed are the peacemakers…

Pat, I was so sorry to hear of Don's death. Dave Stanek from the Special Deputies Unit called to let me know. I admired Don as he reminded me of my father in law, they were born the same year and were of the same generation, The Greatest One. I would hear from Don from time to time after you both moved the Arizona and he seemed happy to be away from the cold in Minnesota. I will miss him greatly as we had some good times when he rode with me when I worked for the Sheriff's Office. I know that others who knew Don feel the same way. Long live PAPA DUCK, he is now patrolling the streets of glory and will do it with pride and honor!!!!!
