My sympathies to all his family members.
A very kind and generous man. Had many happy golf outings with Don and his brother Bob at his eastern Quebec and Beaconsfield clubs and during our yearly trip to Myrtle Beach. Memories I will never forget.

If there was a competition for best older brother, Don would win by a landslide. He was always there for me and my family.Fortunately,I had seventeen retirement years enjoying Don's company on countless golf outings to Myrtle Beach, Florida, Dufferin, Beaconsfield and Malone. I Thought I would finally be able to beat Don at golf as he got older, but fate intervened and I'll never get that opportunity.I will miss you dear brother. Rest in Peace.

Don was a respected man who was admired by many. Above all else he was a man of principal and would not be pushed around by anyone. I often tell my children how much their father was proud to be part of his team.

I also had the great pleasure of knowing Don through the Beaconsfield Magnolia golf tournaments. His character was impeccable and you always knew where you stood with him. One is measured by the lives touched. Don raised the bar for us all... He will be greatly missed and I was blessed to have called him friend...

I met Donnie from the Magnolia/Beaconsfield matches held for the past 21 years. I will remember him for his many stories told while sitting around after a match or during dinner. The memory of his laugh will resonate in my mind forever. He was a true gentleman and a great competitor. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. God took a good one.
