Sorry to hear of Donnie's passing. I work with Donnie at William Head Institution. Donnie was a great fun loving guy. Donnie had so many stories to tell and he told them well. I was fortunate to get to know Don outside of work, we did several fun golf trips up island. My condolences to Carol and Donnie's family.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the loss of an old friend and comrade.
Donny and I go back a long, long, time.
We came through Depot together in "Korea Platoon" Edmonton 1959.
And served in the same Company "B" Coy in Victoria work Point Barracks.
One year while we were still single, he and I hitch-hiked from Victoria through the States in uniform to his home town "Atikokan Ont, and stayed a couple of days, I then carried on to my sister in Troy New York
We had many memories from that trip, and also during our time with the first Battalion.
During the latter part of our lives, we lost contact with each other.
So it was a shock and was saddened to hear of Don's passing.
Both Beverly and I would like to send our condolences to all of his family at this time of sorrow.
Sincerely
Jack Un Beverly

Carol we are sorry to hear of Don't passing. Even though Don was in and out of our lives we treasure and will never forget our times together. There was no one like him with his wit and humour. He was a very special man. Vicki and Tony.
