Dear Ann, Sam, Tom, & families; May we express our deepest sympathy in the death of Don. He was a wonderful man who did so many good things for Butler County when he was a State Senator. Two come to mind. He was instrumental in acquiring the land for Moraine State Park that we enjoy so much & the volunteer Firemen lights that they place on the roof of their vehicles to get to a fire as quickly as possible. He had a rare quality of leadership & profound devotion to his family & friends, which earned his love & respect of all of us who had the fortune to know him. May God bless all of you, during such sad times.

Ann, my sympathy on your loss. I lived at Westwood Village, Enola, PA near you. Don was personable and friendly. I remember your Siamese cat who went out on your boat with you; that intrigued me since I'm a "cat person."

Dear Oesterling family,

I worked for Senator Oesterling when he was a Deputy Secretary in the then Department of Environmental Resources. I was sorry to read of his passing. I know all those years ago his family meant everything to him, and I'm sure you all still did. RIP, Senator

Ann, Dawn, Mike, Pete and Family..
So sorry to hear about Sen. Don's passing. He was always one of my favorite people. I knew him when I was a little guy from being in my Dad's store. At that time he was working at the radio station. That was many years ago. He will be missed by lots of friends and associates, and by Donna and I. God Bless your family....
