Donald Olson Obituary
He was born on 5/10/1945 to Irving and Louise (Aronhalt) Olson in Parsons, KS. He graduated from McPherson (KS) High School in 1963 and attended Emporia State University. He retired from General Electric in Louisville, KY, where he was the general manager of direct mail marketing and insurance. He enjoyed retirement and played golf nearly every day no matter the weather. He was known by his family, friends and coworkers for his incredible math and marketing skills. He was a brilliant man cherished by all. He loved all animals and they loved him.
He is survived by his wife Mary Olson, brother Dr. Gary (Martha) Clark of Leesburg, FL, brother Stan (Tanis) Olson of Rose Hill, KS, son Brian Olson of Parsons, KS, daughter Dr. Tammy (Doug) Crouse of Parkville, MO, grandson Dr. Tyler Rexwinkle of Parkville, MD, grandson Preston (Jaime) Crouse of Rockville, MD, niece Amy Eland of Brooksville, FL, nephews Joe Clark of Westlake, OH, and Preston Olson of Rose Hill, KS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Phil Olson and nephew Scott Clark.
Family would suggest memorials be sent to the Kentucky Humane Society, 1000 Lyndon Lane Suite B, Louisville KY 40222.
