I am so very very sad to hear the news of Don's passing. He was such a wonderful man. Don was truly generous, giving of his time and talents, helping the special needs students at the school he volunteered at on the UES. He was a favorite of the children and the staff. I so enjoyed seeing him interact with the children, our conversations, his impish and irreverent sense of humor, and meeting his lovely family. The world is colder place without him. My very sincere condolences to his family.

I am deeply sorry and send loving condolences to Don's family. My memories of Don are joyful, and I will forever be grateful to have known him.
I have donated to Habitat for Humanity in honor of Don, and all that he helped my students at the Gillen Brewer School for children with special needs build.
Farewell, Don. Thank you for sharing your heart and gifts with us.
