I first met Don on the Indian River clamming in 1987. He was a phys ed teacher and I was studying to be a phys-ed teacher at UCF. He wasn't a very good clamor so I taught him how to clam and he taught me everything he knew about being a teacher. We remain friends for the next 35 plus years and had so many ridiculously funny times. We traveled abroad and used to go to FSU football games where we saved many college kids walking across the street late at night from bullwinkles to the pizza place. One time down in St Thomas we're having so much fun we almost missed our cruise ship. Rest in peace my friend, you will never be forgotten!

We had many "great" times with our classmates and teammates.
Don went on to FSU and a stellar track career with the Noles“.
My condolences to his children and extended family.
