Phillips, Sr.
70, of Louisville passed away peacefully Friday, Oct. 3, at his residence. Born in Duo, W.Va. on June 24, 1944. Lifetime resident of Waynesburg. Retired in 1995 as a Machine Operator for Hercules Engines.
Preceded in death by his parents Orval and Pauline (Arborgast) Phillips; one sister; two brothers. Survived by his son Donald J. (Karen) Phillips Jr. of Louisville; daughter Lisa (Lee) McCarty of Waco; brothers Orval (Evelena) Phillips, Floyd Phillips, Mike Phillips all of West Virginia; sisters Helen Mayle of Canton, Connie McQuown of Marlboro, Mary Phillips, Gladys (Garry) Coburn both of Louisville. Many grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Family would like to thank Vicki Mohr, Janice Smith and Deb Nipper from Clear Path Hospice for their support and assistance in their time of need.
Friends may call Tuesday Oct. 7 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Services following at 1 p.m. with burial at Sandy Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family. Add your condolences at www.waltner-simchak.com
