Donny, you will always be in my memories when I think of growing up in Menominee...RIP old friend.

Condolences to the family. I grew up in Birch Creek and we were neighbors to the Photenhauer's. Donny was my age and we had many good times together. I remember Donny coming to our farm with his mother and father to visit or pick up fresh eggs. Donnie would play with my brother's and I, wrestling, throwing a ball or just goofing around. He never wanted to leave, because we always showed him so much attention. I can still hear him laughing and giggling. My fondest memory of Donny is when I left home to join the military and had not seen him for over 20 years. I went to morning Mass at our church in Birch Creek with my mother. After Mass Donny came running over to me and said hi Ronnie and gave me and my mother big hugs. I was so surprised that he remembered me after all those years. Donny my friend, I love you and may you rest in peace. I will see you someday again.
