Donald ROSS Obituary
The family of Donald Alexander Ross is saddened to announce his passing on Monday, July 31, 2017 at the Elrose Health Centre at the age of 99 years. Don is survived by his daughter Marjorie Sutherland and her husband Larry Burechailo; stepson Don Strand; grandson Kevin (Patty) Sutherland and their son Cody; granddaughter Pam (Randy) Oakenfold and their son Bradley (Shania); step-grandson Rick (Heather) Strand and their son Eric; step-grandson Bruce (Terry) Strand and family and his special friend Shirley England and her family. He was predeceased by his parents Donald and Annie Ross, his wife Dorothy (nee Grunerud) Strand, daughter-in-law Marlene Strand, sister Margaret (Jack) Kerr as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews and a great-grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rosetown United Church with Reverend Jo-Ann Hills officiating. Donations in memory of Don may be made to the Elrose Health Centre Auxiliary – Activity Fund, P.O. Box 100, Elrose, SK S0L 0Z0 or to the Rosetown Legion Poppy Fund, P.O. Marj, Kevin,Pam. We just heard about Don's passing. He lived a long and healthy life. We remember many happy times spent in his company. You were lucky to have had so many years with him. From Bob & Lynn Farquharson.
