Donald R. Setzer, born on August 11, 1938, in Stroudsburg, PA, passed away on February 17, 2025.

Donald was a talented athlete in his youth, earning multiple letters in high school sports. Following his education, he proudly served as a U.S. Marine, demonstrating his dedication and commitment to his country.

Throughout his life, Donald was married twice, to Janet and Joan. He was the father of five children and had many grandchildren who brought joy to his life.

He will be greatly missed by those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.

A Marine has passed away today. Donald, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation“s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
