Dear Lois and family,
It is with deep sadness that I
read an obituary in the PG on Don's
passing. My sympathy to all of you.
He was a real trooper in his
quest for life. He endured more than anyone I have ever known,as have you. I always admired your strength to carry on no matter what
hardship you were dealt with.
My prayers are offered for
all of you....................
Love and friendship,
Nancy (and Ron,too)

Please accept my sincere condolences on the death of Mr. Skees. Having buried my Dad just a month ago, I understand how difficult it is. May your faith comfort and console you in this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know I was not there in the end, but i did look foward to my dads stories about his days with Donnie on the hunting trips and just his daily life. My dad always has a smile on his face when he talks about Don. I truley beleave that Don tought my dad things in life that my dad passed on to me. He was with my dad from there first fight in grade school untill his fight with cancer.
My dad told me countless times that "If you have one true friend in this life your way ahead of the game". I always knew he was talking about Don.
Sorry for our loss,
ken

Dear Mrs. Skees,
I was so very sad to read of your husband's death today. I have such fond memories of Mr. Skees. He was a warm and friendly man and I thoroughly enjoyed interviewing him those first two years after his transplant. How he DELIGHTED in his first grand daughter!!
May you find peace in your memories.
Sincerely,
Ronna Harris

As His nephew, Uncle Donnie had a wonderful way of making me feel happy and loved when I was around; I suspect He did that for most others; His qualities are really a rarity and He will be greatly missed.

Dear Lois, Ellen & Mike,Jeff & Jackie and Jennifer:
Words can not express our sorrow and sympathy we feel for you at this time. Donnie sure was a marvelous person who we will all miss. We can only feel that Donnie is now with Uncles' Ray and Bobby and Grandma & Grandpa in heaven watching over you to give you comfort and strength. Soon they will probably be fishing together. Please let us know if there is anything we can do.
All our love,
Howdy Beasock
