Another tremendous actor who was taken too soon. One need only look at his face to discern what an out of this world performer he was. If my hunch is right, he´s looking over scripts for his next performance. What an awesome talent. RIP Donald!

Celebrating the life a talented actor Donald Sutherland that he will be truly missed, yet never be forgotten: Never nominated for an Academy Award-he was finally given an honorary Oscar in 2017-the fearless 64´ Canadian immersed himself in role in more than 100 films, from Ordinary People to Hunger Games. `Film acting, "he once said, "is about the surrender of will to the director." We all know that he is in a good place now, has reunited with the people that he worked with.

My deepest sympathies to the Sutherland family.
I met your father one time in the eighty´s in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I was star struck and he was so nice and down to earth and we spoke about the movie Animal House. I´ll always have that moment. A magnificent actor & magnetic man.

I just finished watching Citizen X and I have to admit that Donald Sutherland never made a movie I didn't like. If I could find a movie that he starred in I knew it was going to be great. I never met the man but he was the best actor I have ever seen. The world will be a lesser place without him.

My fondest memory of Donald Sutherland was his portrayal of a loving father in the film; "Ordinary People; supporting his son when the boy´s mother was callus and unloving; since her older son who died, was her favorite. Loving mother´s don´t have favorites. The film was beautiful and the ending was perfect & justifiable.

To the family of Mr. Donald Sutherland:
I would like to extend my sincere condolence and deepest sympathy to the Sutherland family. The first movie I ever saw Mr. Sutherland in was in 1968 entitled "The Split" in which his character was cool, calm, Schave and distinguished along with an unforgettable cast of actors. "Pride and Prejudice," "The Italian Job", "The Mechanic" and "Space Cowboys" are just a few of the movies in which Mr. Sutherland displayed the traits of a true gentlemen who was sincere to the art of being an excellent actor. He was a legend and will never be forgotten, his name and movies will be a part of cinema history forever. There is no doubt that he was well loved and will be missed by all who knew him personally and professionally.
May you always keep treasured memories of Mr. Sutherland in your heart and may you also find comfort in knowing that God is aware of your pain, and may he give you the strength needed as you continue on this journey of life.
