Donald Lynn Waite, 87, of Chambersburg, PA, went to his Heavenly home on Friday, September 15, 2023. Born December 18, 1935 in Bradford, PA, he was a son of the late Lynn N. and Alberta Hitchcock Waite. He was a 1954 graduate of the Falconer (NY) Central School and attended Buffalo Bible Institute and Azusa Pacific University. A truck driver for 45 years, Donald drove for S.M. Flickingers in Falconer, NY for more than 20 years and later retired from Food Lion. After retiring he drove vehicles for Eastland Motors and worked at Cracker Barrel. He attended Chambersburg Brethren In Christ Church. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as football, baseball, and NASCAR. Don gave unconditional love and enjoyed sharing God's love with his family and friends.

He is survived by five children, Linda Boutelle (Calvin), Wendy Decker (Jeremy French), Julie Norton (Ray), Laura Banks (Ron), and Melissa Kuhns (David); two step-children, Paul Overturf and Crystal Smith (Kelly); twenty-five grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Lynette Green Pickup and his former spouses Bonny Turner and Gloria Waite. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Rodney and Marcus.

A service to celebrate Donald's life will be held at a later date. Entombment will be at the Myrtle Cemetery in Kennedy, NY.

Contributions in his memory may be made to any animal shelter or pet rescue of the donor's choice.
