Beth and Ruth,

So sorry to hear about your father and husband, but I'm glad he's moved on to a better place where he's no longer suffering. And I know he will live on in his family who loved him very much

To the West Family, from a past student, sportsman and long time friend of Don. Coach Don was an assistant coach and SMN during my SMN tenure in the period of 1964-67, and taught us how to "aim high in steering" and the sound principles of 10/2 on the wheel. Both timeless principles never forgotten, whether driving or dealing with what comes to you as you navigate through life. My reflection is this, Don was "absolutely genuine" and ever thoughtful as to what he might do to help others. His is remembered and greatly appreciated. Our sincerest sympathies and condolences...we celebrate his life. Thank you, Coach.

I am sorry to the West family for your loss of a great man. Mr West was my drivers ed teacher in 1969. What he taught us has stayed with me and kept me safer on the road. I still remember some of the exact things he said. His class was always interesting and he was a fun caring guy. He will never be forgotten. Bob Cunningham, Sarasota, Fl
