Dear Nancy and family - I am so sorry for your loss. I am not able to attend Don's service today but will continue praying for your family. I can see Don, Bill and Jim VanHouten all talking Notre Dame, Ohio State and Michigan football together and I can hear their laughter and see their smiles. My God comfort your hearts as only He can.

Don was a great guy even though being a ND fan. We had a lot of fun times with the Michigan,Notre Dame games and corvettes. I think my best memory was how he used to bribe his grandkids with skittles to say go Irish. He was a lot of fun and we send our condolences to Nancy and the Family.

Nancy, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Don was such a big part of the atmosphere and fun at Cousins, as were you.

Dear Nancy and Family,

We were privileged to have Don as one of our “Cousins Campground” buddies. We have lots of fond memories of the time we spent with him during the many camping seasons.

He enjoyed the rivalry that we all shared over the Michigan - Norte Dame football games each Fall at the park and he and Charlie Ratering tried to outdo each other with pranks on each other during that football weekend!

Nancy and family really stepped up when Don became ill and gave him loving and unselfish care for the rest of his life.

Don lived a good life and now it is time for him to find eternal rest and peace.

He will be greatly missed by all.

Love and Hugs to Nancy and Family,

Phil and Sharon Madarasz - Site 79
