Donald Eugene Winklevoss, 88, of Mercer, passed away at AHN-Grove City on Friday, December 25, 2020 at 9:41 AM after a brief illness. Don was born in Jackson Center, PA on April 13, 1932 to Henry and Laura (Day) Winklevoss.
Don was the founder of Interstate Auto Auction in Jackson Center; he previously worked for Great Eastern Financial Services; was the owner of Don’s Auto Sales in Sandy Lake; and worked for Buckeye Coal Co. in Jackson Center.
He was an Army Veteran who served in the Korean War and was stationed in Germany.
Don is survived by his wife: Faye H. (Morris) Winklevoss, whom he married in July 1997; his daughter: Donna Jean (Winklevoss) Aurandt; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and one sister: Helen Filer in Grove City.
Don is preceded in death by his late wife: Dolores Jean (Morden) Winklevoss, whom he married in 1952. She died in 1995. He is also preceded in death by his parents; six brothers and four sisters.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at Cunningham Funeral Home, Inc., 144 S. Pitt Street, Mercer, PA 16137 with Rev. Randy Ritchey officiating. Interment will be at Crestview Memorial Park, Pine Twp., PA.
