Donald J Zeiger

Ft. Myers - Passed away on Nov. 3, 2024 at the age of 88. He was the beloved husband of Sandi for 62 years; loving father of Tracy (Jim) Allen, Steve (Melissa) Zeiger, Tom (Trisha) Zeiger and Andy Zeiger; grandfather of Michael (Haley) Allen, Madison (Austin) Davis, Taylor Zeiger, the late Anna Zeiger, Alexis Zeiger, the late Tommy Zeiger and Macy Zeiger; great-grandfather of Saylor, James and Palmer Allen. He was preceded in death by his 5 siblings, Robert, Janice, Elaine, Dale and Marlene. Don was born on December 8, 1935 to the late Joseph and Verna (Kuntzman) Zeiger. After graduating from North Canton High School in 1953, he enrolled in a tool and die apprenticeship program at the Hoover Company where he worked for 30 plus years, retiring as a Section Manager over the Injection Molding Department. Don and his wife, Sandi, founded Zeiger Industries in 1990, where they manufactured components for injection molding machines and high performance marine products. Zeiger Industries is currently run by his two eldest sons, Steve and Tom. A celebration of life will be held for the family.
