Donna was not my Mother but she was the mother of someone I love very much. Donna knew and knows how much I love her son and she shared her love with me as if I were her daughter-in-law. I miss her so much and can only imagine how much Tony and Scott will be missing her this Mother´s Day.

My grandma was not only a strong woman she was a fighter. She never let anything fear her and always found a way to overcome any obstacles in her path. She was so creative which she loved to express with me from showing me how to create amazing PowerPoints to sidewalk art in the driveway everything she did was a passion of hers. She helped me in building confidence and realized that no matter how many times you fail at something you have to keep trying till you succeed. Im gonna miss so many things about my grandma from root beer floats on the dock while the cows were mooing, our spaghetti -o and hot dogs while watching our favorite soap opera "all my children" to many many different museums. She was the light in every room she entered and continued to show love, kindness, confidence and strengthen and these will be the things I hold dear to my heart. I love you forever i like your for always as longs as I'm living my grandma you'll be. Grandma I'm happy your finally at peace and that you were surrounded by those you loved. I miss you.

My gandma showed strength in everything she did she always knew just the right words to say in every situation and was never afraid of taking changes on anything. She showed me that isn't ok to feel emotions it's what you do with them that matters. She loved her family they were her world. She made everyday a joy from root beer float night, trial mix/baking time to many different museums. My grandma was the light in every room. I will miss you very much grandma I will continue to keep your memories with me and stay strong and independent as you did in your life. "I love you forever I like you for always as long as I'm living my grandma you'll be".

If there is one thing I know for sure, it is how much grandma loved her family and her independence. Grandma is one of the most loving and bravest women I know. She taught me everything I know from how to dress & walk in heels, bake, paint, to teaching me about kindness, love, and what it meant to be a strong & intelligent woman. Grandma, you are by far the best grandmother and friend I ever had. I will miss our visits and facetime calls. I, along with all of us, love and miss you! Until we meet again.

Donna came into my world when her son Tony and I decided to join forces and move to Texas. It did not take long for me to realize why she was so important to him and why he loves her so much. From the first time I met Donna and Mike they treated me like family. I know we should not have regrets in life but one of mine will definitely be not having more time with her. I lost my mom to Parkinson´s so I understood her struggles and there were many but she never complained. She had one of the prettiest smiles and always a warm embrace. I have never been around someone who was so full of talent and creativity. She had a flare for style second to none. She loved her kitties and tolerated our dogs as evidenced by the photo. Apollo, our Doberman who has a keen sense of character loved sitting at her feet in hopes of just getting a few of her sweet words and pats on the head. I can´t imagine anyone knowing Donna and not loving her! Such a gentle soul and I will miss her for the rest of my days. My deepest sympathies to all those who are now dealing with her passing. I believe you now have a very special angel keeping an eye on you from a place where she is free from any earthly diseases. Thank you Donna for sharing your love and friendship!

I knew as a young man coming out of high school I wasn't ready for a traditional career at first. Joined the U.S Army and from the moment I decided, mom had my back and full support. She always had my back and always felt her love for country and family.
