A year already. Time continues to pass us all by. Donna Sue and I were great friends in elementary school. As I said last year we probably saw each other daily. We´d lay in the grass and look at clouds, ride our bikes, go upstairs in their attic and walk across the wooden planks(glad we didn´t fall), spend the night with each other, play games, watch their big TV and so many other things just to have fun. Donna as you all know, was very smart as was her brother. When they moved to Rockdale it was hard on both of us. We´d walk each other back and forth between our houses. Finally her Dad would whistle LOUD, as only he could, that it was time to go.
May you Rest In Peace Donna.

Donna and I were good friends many years ago when we were in elementary school. We lived across the grain field from each other and we´re together all the time. Her family moved away around 6th grade and we lost touch. When we were moving our son from A&M, College Station in 1993, I saw where she was a teacher there. We got back in touch and continued our friendship. I will always remember our days together as kids.
Rest In Peace Donna.

Donna was my college roommate at UT. We had some great adventures as we maneuvered through the 60s together. Although we hadn´t seen each other in years, we kept in touch. I will always remember her sitting on her bed studying. She would be there when I went to bed, and be there when I woke up.

Donna Sue and I were college roommates at Century House, a C-Op at UT, and then shared an apartment our senior year. I can still see her sitting on her bed studying while I went to bed, and then waking up early to see her asleep with a book. Although we hadn´t seen each other in years, we kept in touch. She will always be in my heart. Bless you, Donna

When we both lived in Shippensburg, Donna and Wes and a cat were my upstairs neighbors and friends. She often invited me to dinner. Donna was an excellent teacher (I took a class from her) and a strong, smart woman who did not suffer fools kindly! We kept in touch after we both moved away from Shippensburg and met for lunch once in Oregon when I lived in Klamath Falls and she was zipping down I-5. I had no idea she was ill and was saddened by her passing. Condolences to Jim and Wes and other friends and family.

In 1988, Donna was my first professor that challenged me to understand what it meant to "be" a psychologist, not "do" the practice psychology. She became my doctorate chair after many arguments where I thought I was making a point, only to leave her office thoroughly confused. She had a beautiful gift of making you feel heard and understood, while she taught you many life lessons. I feel so blessed that she was one of my mentors and how much she impacted me more than 30 years ago. Please know that the countless students she influenced and the privileged people she treated, she made such a difference.
