Donna (Dee Dee) Orsi Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 6, 2025.
Donna "Dee Dee" Orsi (née Weaver) passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025, in Yuba City, California, at the age of 69. Born on March 17, 1955, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dee Dee moved to San Francisco, California, in 1965, where she spent most of her life before retiring to Yuba City to be closer to her children.

Dee Dee was the beloved wife of the late Loreno Orsi and a devoted mother to her children-Tabatha Orsi, Oreste Orsi, Anna Orsi, and Donna Delgado. She cherished her grandchildren--Jose Hernandez, Lorena Hernandez, Benjamin Hernandez, Edward Hernandez, Loreno Orsi, Mia Orsi, Tomas Delgado, Javier Delgado, and Jakarrah Senior and great-granddaughter--Azalea deeply, always placing family at the center of her life. Her love for them was boundless, and she would do anything to support and care for them.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald Edward Weaver Sr. and Theresa Francis Weaver; her husband, Loreno Orsi; her grandson, Edward "Eddie" Hernandez; and her brother, Donald Edward Weaver Jr. She is survived by her children; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brother, Cosmo Barbardo; and her sisters, Philomena Brooks and Theresa Georganne Weaver. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will remember her with love.

Dee Dee had a passion for making a house a home. She loved decorating and took great pride in every detail of her space. When she set her mind to a project, she put her heart and soul into it-never hesitating to learn new skills along the way. She also had an undeniable passion for cleaning. Her dedication was so strong that she would meticulously vacuum herself out of a room to ensure no footprints disturbed the freshly cleaned carpet-a habit that often led to playful frustration when her brothers unknowingly stepped across it.

Beyond her love for home improvement and organization, Dee Dee enjoyed watching scary movies and spending time with family. She was the cornerstone of the family-a source of strength, love, and unwavering support. Her dogs also held a special place in her heart.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor, with details to be announced. Dee Dee will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Aunt Dee Dee, was always the family rock. Over the years she always made sure to check in with me and make sure I was doing well. She loved her family more than life. Love you Aunt Dee.

Aunt Dee Dee you were my God Mother and when I lived there you treated me so well with love. I spent a lot of time at your house and you always made me feel loved and welcomed. May you forever rest in peace. My only wish is that I got to see you again.
