Donna R. Fisher, 64, wife of Gene A. Fisher of Castleton, died Tuesday, November 21, 2006. She was born December 23, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Donald R. and Billie E. Thompson Turner Mockler. Mother of Wayne E. and Lewis R. Fisher of Castleton. Also survived by a brother, Bill E. Turner and his family of Jacksonville, Florida, a sister-in-law and nephew, Helen and Jack Turner of Sierra Vista, Arizona. Donna and Gene moved to Rappahannock in 1970 from Florida. She worked at CCA in Boston, Va. for many years. Since 1997 she was with the Rappahannock Historical Society in Washington, Va. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Rappahannock Historical Society, P.O. Box 261, Washington, VA 22747 & or Hospice of the Rapidan, P.O. Box 1715, Culpeper, VA 22701.
