I only met my Aunt Donna a few times in "real life" over several decades - once in Ontario and twice in Victoria - but she will always hold a soft, specific place in my heart. Her kindness, authenticity, warmth, and creativity were inspiring to me. I'm so sad to hear of her passing, and to know I won't be able to visit next time I'm in Victoria. Rest in peace.
