The top notch backing singers like Donna Jean added so much character and depth to the big unique songs of supreme artists like Presley and Diamond. The recorded songs would be lesser without the special talent, the perfect ear, the immaculate timing of Donna. The harmonics, the emotional crescendos add that layer of etheral transport. Condolences to Donna''s family.

Such a talented singer, she was able to sing so many genres of music and they all sounded greats. A beautiful voice that so many came to enjoy for many years. Sincere condolences to the Godchaux family, truly sorry for your loss. May God be with you all in your time of loss.

My sympathies to the MacKay Family for the loss of Donna. My fondest memory was back in St. Louis, Missouri when the Grateful Dead played at the Fox Theatre for 3 days back in the 1970s. Donna wanted to go shopping for new clothes, so we shopped and had the best of times. She is truely a beautiful and gifted Woman, just know she is Singing and Dancing in the Glorious Heavens. God Bless your Family.

Dear Donna Jean and Zion: it was my great pleasure and honor to know DJ, Keith and Zion back in the 1970's when I helped take care of Zion. This was a very special time and Donna was a very kind, loving wife and Mom. She had a funny sense of humor and was really authentic and real. She is heaven now with the Lord and I will always cherish my fond memories of her. RIP darlin. XXOO Lexie Hunter
