I am so sorry that I didn't know that Donna had passed. I just found out today from Laurie Lyons, another PMGCC member.
Donna and Ian meant a great deal to me, and though my parents Sandy and Terry Lazarowich, I got to know them. We had dinners together with them and I was so appreciative of their warmth and generosity. There was always so much laughter and story telling. Poor Donna had to hear the same stories many, many times. She was one of the kindest people I had ever met, and that's saying a lot, because my Dad was just plain crazy! She was so tolerant of him. ❤
We went to Christmas craft fairs together with my Mom, and I loved shopping with Donna.
She must surely be missed terribly.
I know that they are all up there, playing golf, and raising heck!

I am so very sorry for your loss. I met your mom 16 years ago. She was doing a luncheon for Safeway in Mission. I was just starting out doing demos and she helped me get set up even though she was really busy. I worked with her over the years and she was always kind to me. I saw her just after your dad passed. She told me what happened and I said I was so sorry and gave her a hug. She said she would be okay...she had her grandchildren. She was a very special lady!!!! and I will miss seeing her around town! :)

We feel very fortunate to have known Donna and want to express our heartfelt sympathy to her family. Like so many others who were drawn to Donna by her warmth and courage, we're deeply grieved and bewildered by her death. Your grief is shared by many.

So sorry to hear about Donna....what a huge loss for your family. We go back a long time with Pipe Band days, Point Roberts and the Police. Donna was always smiling, warm and gracious and beautiful. Donna and Ian were a big part of our lives back in the day and we won't ever forget the good times. Our thoughts are with you.....

So sorry for your loss. Just an idea of what Donna meant to a lot of us. Donna had just given the reply to the toast to the lassies. As the mc I thanked her and said " there are those of us who have led lives that could be considered challenging . Through it all donnas advise was always good and in the decades I have known her I never heard her say an unkind word to anyone.
In the end we will all have to ask ourselves if our lives mattered . Donnas life mattered a great deal to many people. She was loved

I am so sorry for another huge loss in two years your Dad and now your Mother. I am thinking about you girls and I am sending my prayers to you. What a beautifully written tribute to your Mom. I am glad you have each other as you begin to try and mend your broken hearts. Its touching you take comfort in the fact the two love birds have been reunited.
