Ann and Family: My heart hurts for you, for I truly know the pain you feel. At times like this we just can't help but question God and wonder if He really does know what He's doing. Just keep trusting Him and believing. Only He can help you throught this so hold on to Him. You are in my thoughts and my prayers. Ann, call me anytime you need to talk. Love you.

From the day I was born, Donna was right there with my mom helping to raise me, I grew up with her daughter Brianna, who I consider my little sister, and me her brother. there was times in my life that the only person I could talk to was her, she could give me advice, and comfort me. there were some times in my life growing up when I was out of control, and wouldnt listen to anyone..but Donna was always the one that if she told me to sit and shut it, thats what happened. I have so many funny stories of her, but best of all great memories.. the lake, Culvahouse, jumping off the docks, halloween trips, just so many great times, that will always be there in the back of my mind. really I considered Donna as my second mom. anyone that met her could relate to that...I love her so much, I went from the smart little teenager I was to now, Im married, and a father to my 7 month old son, and Donna watched me grow. I will always remember September 25th, 2009 as one of the saddest moments in my life, because that was the day me, and 5 other Pall Bearers placed my second mom in the ground to rest. I love you all, Bri, Ann, David, John. if any of you need anything. please call. for those who never met Donna, Im very sorry for you, you just missed being in the presents of a Beautiful Angel..

I don't know where to start to even begin to tell you how much I loved Donna. There is always that one special person who touches your life and blesses you each day from the first day you meet them. Donna is that person to me. I am so thankful to have known her and been one of her bestfriends. I will miss her and think of her everyday for the rest of my life. I know that no one misses her more than her family though. They are just as precious to me as she was and still is. I am going to be here for you all always. We will always have the memories and they will be filled with tears, but more than tears they will be filled with the love and laughter that she brought to us each and everyday. She is with God now and we will see her again. But until then we will be blessed because we did know Donna and we had her love. I miss you Donna and I will for the rest of my life. To Donna's family ...I love you..you are my family as well...God will get us through this most difficult time.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
