Donna Topp

Donna Louise Kolb Topp , age 72, passed away February 22, 2018 in Scottsdale, AZ after a long bout with cancer. Donna was born September 18, 1945 in Holland, MI. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence H Kolb and Leona Nystrom Kolb. Donna was a graduate of West Ottawa High School.
Donna and her husband Ken shared a passion for wildlife and were partners in their horse breeding business, Mystic Sands Arabians. Their horses were internationally renown and won several National Championships. Donna was a member of the International Arabian Horse Association, Arabian Horse Association of Arizona and a charter member of West Michigan Arabian Horse Association. Donna was also a director of Hazelbank United Interests Inc. Above all, Donna loved spending time with her family, lifelong friends, her dogs, and horses.
Donna is survived by her husband of 49 years, Kenneth L Topp Sr., son Chad J Kolean (Teresa), grandchildren Loren and Grant Kolean, sister Katherine Kolb Peebles, brother Larry R Kolb (Judy), step children Daniel J Topp (Mary), Michael Topp, Barbara Topp Morrison (Gregory), brothers-in-law Larry Topp (Linda), Don Topp (Donna), sister-in-law Judy Topp Owens and many nieces, nephews, cousins, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother in law Thomas Peebles, stepson Kenneth L Topp Jr., and sister in law Janice Topp Greving.
A memorial service for Donna will be held in Holland, Michigan, her home of 72 years, sometime in May. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Wounded Warriors, VFW, or Children's Cancer research at St Jude's hospital.
