Donnel R. Hemminger

I took lessons from Don in the mid 60s when he was employed at Durdels Music in Toledo. Don was amazing. Don will always be a part of my life.

I am not sure why Don's name jumped into my mind tonight but in about 1963-64 I took guitar lessons from him. 59 years later, my ability to play guitar is one of my most cherished assets. I was certainly not a star student but I was persistent. I am happy with my ability. Incidentally, both of my kids - because of Don's influence on me - became awesome guitarists and also play about a dozen other instruments between them. Thanks for everything, Don!
