Funeral services for Donnie Basham, 36, of Midlothian, Texas, will be held Monday, September 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David Wyrtzen and Brother Bud Bonner officiating. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Mount Zion Cemetery at Midlothian. Mr. Basham was born June 28, 1975 in Houston, Texas; and he passed away Thursday, September 8, 2011 in LaGrange, Texas. Mr. Basham had resided in Midlothian for the past 13 years, and was a former longtime resident of Hudson, Texas. He was a directional drilling foreman for Pumpco, Inc. Mr. Basham loved to hunt and fish with his son, and to ride four wheelers. He attended the Midlothian Bible Church. Survivors include his wife, Jennifer of Midlothian; his beloved son, Dillon Basham of Midlothian; mother and stepfather, Donna and James \'d2Toot\'d3 Hendry of Lufkin; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sheryl and Dale Ford of Midlothian; father-in-law, Billy Michael Carter; brothers, Ernie Basham and Bobby Basham; sisters, Robyn Basham and Shannon Hendry; grandmothers, Joyce Guess, Sarah Clark and Lula Hendry; nieces, Lauren Basham, Harley Howard and Dakota Mingle; nephews, Lane Basham, Adam Howard and Hunter Fears; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Dexter Elliott Basham, and grandfathers, Lyndsey Guess and Clovis Hendry. Pallbearers will be Jason Carter, Brandon Alsbrooks, Brandon Pate, Jason Ramsey, Stormy Cooper and Chad Littlefield. Honorary pallbearers will be Kelvin Alsbrooks, Carlton Callahan, Keith Gilbert, Buddy Stroud, Steve Holland and Egbert Terstegen.
